Explain Agency is …

… an animation and communications company that produces explainer videos with a journalistic approach. You can read more about the approach here.

The company is based in Copenhagen. It was founded by me, Thomas Møller Larsen. This is what I look like:

More than ten years of experience with leading media

For more than ten years, I have worked as a journalist for leading Danish media, and I continue to do so. I also teach at the Danish School of Media and Journalism.

In 2020, I founded Explain Agency because I saw a great need for formats that simplify complex topics – one of which is explainer videos.

Organisations and businesses have shown great interest in this product. Therefore, Explain Agency primarily focuses on these sectors but is also open to projects in media and education.

Typically, I create the illustrations and animations myself. But I also have skilled collaborators who I can involve when needed.

I clearly distinguish between editorial and non-editorial work: When working as a journalist, I maintain a neutral position, independent of economic and political interests.

Additional services

Explainer videos are the core product, but Explain Agency can also handle related tasks, similar to larger agencies.

This could include written content, standalone animations, or consulting services: If your organisation has complex knowledge that needs sharing, I can guide you.
